- The Tigers won 3-2 on a walk-off single by Parker Meadows at Journey Bank Ballpark
- The Tigers lineup featured 6 players 24 or younger for the first time since May 25, 2015

Marlins Turn Play Not Seen Since 1900
- On Sunday, the Marlins turned a unique 8-9-4-2 double play, the first time this has been seen dating back to 1900
- It began with a catch by the center fielder who flipped the ball to the right fielder who then relayed it to the 2nd baseman. The Marlins' 2nd baseman then threw it to home plate & got the runner for an inning-ending double play
- The man who started the play, Derek Hill, also delivered a game-winning RBI single in the 8th inning

Astros Continue To Stay Hot
- Astros Ace, Framber Valdez, won his 8th consecutive game by throwing 7 scoreless innings in a 2-0 win over the White Sox
- They have now won 10 out of their last 11 games & sit in 1st place in the AL West
- After the Game, Valdez said:
