- On Monday, Nationals reliever Hunter Harvey threw a fastball up & in, knocking Jurickson Profar to the ground
- When Profar hit a walk-off later in the game, he celebrated in the infield grass & gestured towards Washington’s dugout
- On Tuesday, MacKenzie Gore’s 1st pitch was a fastball off Profar’s foot & the benches cleared
- Profar would go on to hit a grand slam later in the game, giving the Padres a 9-7 win

Ohtani ties RBI record
- Ohtani crushed a leadoff home run in Tuesday’s 4-3 win over the White Sox, stamping his name in the Dodgers record books
- He has tallied at least 1 RBI in 9 straight games
- This tied him with Roy Campanella for a Dodgers franchise record in a single season

Mariners prospect puts on a show in Double-A
- Mariners prospect Hogan Windish homered 4 times & drove in 9 runs for Double-A Arkansas in a 9-4 win
- Windish & former Major Leaguer Mike Greenwell are the only players to drive in all 9 of their club's runs in a game
- After the game, Windish said:
- "It was just another day at the office, and in no way did I have any feeling it would turn out the way it did…I still haven't fully grasped what happened."
