'24 Class Inducted Into Baseball Hall Of Fame
- This year’s class included Todd Helton, Adrian Beltré, Jim Leyland & Joe Mauer
- In his induction speech, Joe Mauer said:
- “As tough as it is to get into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, it might be just as tough to sum up what this game, this honor, this moment truly means to me”

Astros slugger hits for the cycle
- Yordan Alvarez hit for the cycle for the first time at any level on Sunday afternoon
- He’s the second player in the Majors this year to hit for the cycle (Wyatt Langford, June 30)
- When asked about the impressive accomplishment, Alvarez said:
- “I’m very excited, I felt a little bit of pressure there, but I knew I needed a double and when I hit the ball, I said, ‘There it is.’’

Jorge Soler hits longest HR of the season
- Jorge Soler crushed a 478-foot bomb out to center field that ranked as the longest HR of the 2024 season
- He passed Shohei Ohtani's 476-foot HR on June 18, which was also at Coors Field
- It was the Giants’ 2nd longest home run in the Statcast era, behind only Alex Dickerson’s 480-foot HR in 2020
